Example in Mediterranean sea, from Beyrouth to Marseille. First video represents the route discovered by WRM if the departure period starts on March 1st. On the second video the period runs from March 3 to 8. Bad weather conditions are penalized, that is, if the wind is stronger than 22 knots and the vessel heading to the wind is less than 120° the shipping cost increases. Significant penalties resulting of the bad weather on March 1st have led WRM to postpone the departure by one day. The vessel must then make up the delay to meet the arrival date.

Video showing WRM searching a route from Marseille to Cyprus on march 16, 2022. The video is 6 minutes long with explanations, please forgive my English.
